As an Israeli and as an artist, Thanks to the environment in which I was raised, where both my identity and artistic sensibility were formed. I carry a deep commitment to exploring questions of identity and the complexities of the society around me. I have always felt that it is the invisible people—the ones society prefers to overlook or suppress—who gaze back at me, asking to be heard through the act of creation.

In recent years, I have found myself confronting a rapidly shifting reality: lockdowns and enforced isolation, the loss of stability and security, and a sense of truth that kept changing its form from one moment to the next. These experiences touched me personally, yet at the same time revealed a wider social wound—one we all share, and one whose echoes will inevitably be felt by future generations.

Working on this project became as much a process of inner reflection as it was an artistic endeavor. Out of the confusion, the uncertainty, and the realization that many questions remain unanswered, new inquiries surfaced. Through this work, I wish to share those questions with the viewer—not to provide solutions, but to open a space for experience, dialogue, and renewed consideration of our place as individuals and as a collective.

To date, no in-depth, independent, and objective study—free from economic or political interests—has comprehensively examined the impacts of COVID-19 vaccines, lockdowns, and quarantines on public health, mental well-being, and society during the pandemic. A significant gap remains in the scientific literature, as most existing studies focus on individual aspects or are subject to public or industry funding.
